This is where so many business owners fall short. What comes next? What do you want your followers to do? Having a clearly defined next step is imperative to a successful social media marketing plan. There should be an obvious and organic next step. This can include:

  • Visiting your website
  • Reading a blog post
  • Watching a video
  • Entering a contest
  • Tagging friends or commenting
  • Subscribing to your email list
